Carbide bushings are critical protective components in mechanical equipment, primarily used for sealing and reducing wear between parts. These ring-shaped fittings serve as linings and play a vital role in mechanical operations. Due to the friction caused by prolonged operation, mechanical parts gradually wear down. When the gap between a shaft and a hole reaches a certain threshold, bushings can be replaced to avoid the need to replace the entire component, thereby saving costs. Designers typically choose materials with moderate hardness and high wear resistance for manufacturing bushings to slow the wear of shafts and bearing seats. Usually, bushings are fitted tightly with the bearing housing and loosely with the shaft. Although this approach does not completely eliminate wear, it significantly extends the lifespan of the components. Given that shaft-type parts are relatively easy to machine, this design strategy is both economical and effective.
