Cavities are processed through five-axis linkage machining and ultra-precision grinding processes, with dimensional tolerances controlled within plus or minus 0.003 millimeters. Powder metallurgy gear molds typically use high-speed steel, tungsten carbide, or high-grade tool steel as base materials, combined with vacuum heat treatment, nitriding, deep cryogenic treatment, coating, and other processes, enabling the molds to possess high hardness, anti-chipping properties, and dimensional stability.
